My Favourite Novel

Many people had asked me about my favourite novel. Okay, I must say that “Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows” is really a worth-reading novel. It is the seventh and final of the Harry Potter novels, written by J. K. Rowling.

The story is about Harry, who plans to destroy the parts of Voldemort's soul which are hidden in the four remaining Horcruxes: the locket, Hufflepuff's cup, the Diadem of Ravenclaw, and the snake, Nagini, after Dumbledore's death. After finding and destroying the remaining Horcruxes, Harry and Voldemort face off at Hogwarts Castle, and Harry triumphs. The epilogue of the book shows how Harry marries Ginny, Ron marries Hermione, and a brief glimpse into their lives after the death of Tom Riddle.

Well, there are a lot of reasons why I like this novel so much. It is because almost all the characters show wonderful qualities, such as bravery, loyalty, perseverance, sacrifice, and others. For example, while there is much squabbling among Harry, Ron, and Hermione, they still stick together until the end of the story. From there, I learn about the values of friendship and loyalty. Besides, when Harry fights with Voldemort, I realise that we must face our problems bravely and patiently, good will overcome the evil, as well as never give up until your last try.

Although this novel is mainly about fighting or dealing with death, yet it had gave me a better understanding of the world, a new perspective on how to handle the compelled situation, and made me smarter. Oh, I really benefited a lot from this novel. I would like to recommend this novel to all of my friends so that they would learn a lot from the novel too.
